Seriously! I’ve been catching myself overthinking lately – I’ll be running through thoughts and then I realize how silent it is when I center myself (am I the only one that stops and says “Was that song really not just playing out loud?”). But, that’s one of the best reasons to remember to center ourselves. It’s returning to our spirit’s roots, where we are really home. Breath is one way to come back to center; another is awareness; another could even be an external force or a trigger. We’re all perfectly imperfect and human. It’s okay to let your mind wander, but once you realize just how long you’ve been on the hamster wheel, give yourself a break.
